What we sell

We do not sell individual parts. Everything in the catalogue is supplied as part of a complete machine that we specify, build, test and warrant: a workstation, a server or a cluster. The catalogue is there so you can see exactly which parts go into the machine you are quoted for, and compare them.

We only offer machines we can actually build in Pakistan. A part appears here once we have confirmed it is sold by suppliers in the country, so a quotation reflects what can really be sourced, and not a list of parts that would have to be imported on an uncertain timeline. Prices and delivery are confirmed in your quotation, because supply here moves week to week.

We are based in Islamabad and supply customers across Pakistan. Nothing in the catalogue is an offer of sale on its own; a quotation from us is.

Who we are

What we collect

• When you request a quote or talk to an engineer: your name, email address, and, if you give them, your organisation, phone number, city, timeline, the kind of work you do, your notes, and the configuration you built.
• When you create an account: your email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash, never as the password itself), and, if you give them, your name, organisation and phone number. We also keep the quotes you send while signed in, so you can see them in your account.
• To keep the site safe: your IP address, used briefly to limit how often the same address can send requests, which stops automated abuse of the forms.

You can browse the site, use the configurator and download a quotation without an account and without giving us anything.

Cookies and browser storage

Browsing this site sets no cookies at all. Not on the home page, the catalogue, the machines, the configurator or the quote form. There is no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking of any kind.

Two small things are kept in your own browser, never sent to us: whether you prefer the light or dark theme, and your answer to the notice that appears on your first visit. If you decline that notice we keep neither beyond your visit, which means your theme is not remembered and the notice appears again next time.

There is one cookie in the site, sc_session, and it is created only by signing in. It keeps a signed-in session open and is removed on sign out. Accounts are for our own staff; you do not need one to browse, configure a machine or request a quotation.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare, send and follow up a quotation.
• To supply, deliver, install and support what you buy, including warranty service.
• To run your account: signing in, resetting your password, and showing your quotes.
• To send the emails that go with those, such as your quote confirmation.
• To protect the site and our customers from fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.

Who else sees it

Only the people on our team who handle your enquiry or order, and the service providers that run the site for us: our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database, and our email provider, which delivers the messages we send you. They process it only to provide that service. We will also disclose information where the law of Pakistan requires us to.

How long we keep it

Quotes and orders are business records, and we keep them for as long as we need them to support what we supplied and to meet our accounting and legal obligations. An account is kept until you ask us to close it. IP addresses are held only in the request counter used for rate limiting and are not used for anything else.

How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted connection, passwords are stored as hashes, and access to enquiries and orders is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and if something goes wrong that affects your information we will tell you.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we have to keep it for a legal reason such as an order record. Email info@supercomputers.pk from the address you used and we will reply within a few working days.

Children

The site sells professional computing hardware and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

The law we follow

We handle personal information in line with the laws of Pakistan, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. For anything else, get in touch.
